WHAT MAKES OUR AGGREGATE SPECIAL?

• Produced using a 50/50 blend of M-LS and carboniferous virgin limestone, our blends deliver a sustainable aggregate solution without compromising on quality. With an independently verified GWP figure of -16.1kg/tCO₂e* A1-A3 (cradle to gate), This significantly reduces reliance on primary aggregates while supporting environmentally responsible construction.

• Thanks to its lightweight properties, our blended aggregates provide greater ground coverage per tonne compared to virgin aggregate. Its reduced weight also offers the added environmental advantage of lowering fuel consumption and emissions during transportation.

• Our products have been rigorously tested and proven to meet the SHW Series 800 specification for Type 1 subbase under Clause 803 around the country. 6F5 and 6F5 Recycled aggregates also comply with SHW Clause 601.*Avonmouth products are undergoing full suites of testing now.

• Typical properties of the hybrid aggregate include an LA Coefficient of 32, a Mean Frost Heave of 4.5mm, and a Magnesium Sulphate Soundness of 16%, delivering outstanding performance alongside significant environmental benefits.
